Sepeda bukan hanya sekedar benda biasa, terbukti sepeda sering dijadikan sebagai thema lagu karena betapa panjang perjalanan sejarah dan besar peranan sepeda dalam kehidupan manusia. Ada beberapa band maupun musikus ternama yang sudah menciptakan lagu mengenai sepeda yakni antara lain Queen dan Red Hot Chilli Pepper. Bahkan Indonesiapun juga memiliki lagu klasik mengenai sepeda yakni "Kring-Kring Ada Sepeda" yang sudah populer sejak tahun 1970-an, demikian juga Ki Nartosabdo yang mengangkat keanggunan sepeda Simplex dan lampu Berko dalam gending karawitan yang sangat populer di Jawa.
